Families

We believe families are important. Most of our ministries are centered around the family. You will find that most of our events are welcome to everyone in the family. If it is a men's breakfast, we encourage the men to bring their kids. The same goes for the women's events. There are certain times when it may not be appropriate for the kiddos to be there, and we let everyone know about those times. The family unit is central to the bible, to God, and to us. This is why we have family camp-outs, adventures, and other events for the whole family.

We want and encourage the family unit to worship & serve together. We want to be able to provide church family to those who need some Godly influences in their life and their children's lives. Our ministries are focused on building up the family and building great relationships within the family of God.

Worship service

Valley Christian Church loves to worship, through music and getting into the word. The purpose of worship at our church is not just about music and about what takes place within a musical aspect of worship. It’s about living a life of worship 24/7 - at our jobs, our relationship world, our financial world, the way we spend our time AND the communion of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

"Therefore, I urge you brothers (sisters), in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of you mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to supplementing the family in their attempt to lay a spiritual foundation that, in God’s time, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Children’s Church - Sundays, 10am

One of our goals is to see children worship with their parents. The children stay with the parents through part of the worship time in the main service; then they are dismissed to enjoy a biblical lesson appropriate to their age group. If you choose you may keep your child with you throughout the service.

Nursery - Opens at 9:45 on Sunday.

Our nursery is available for newborns up through 3yrs. Your children are cared for and loved by a consistent staff. For nursing mothers, we have a nursing area.

Men and women's Ministry

The mission of adult ministry is to prepare, challenge, and inspire men and women to a life of Christian discipleship. It begins with true friendships, being open and honest with one another. It is our desire and mission that every adult become a full and fulfilled disciple of Jesus Christ, and that each person will have a passion for Christian service, whether it is across the street or around the globe.

We encourage every adult to be involved in a bible study.

Young Adults

Our Student Ministry includes 7th-12th grade. We are a Jesus-focused, Spirit-filled, and life-giving ministry of VCC, who's focus is to bring to life the Gospel of Christ in the lives of kids. Our vision is to raise up and empower the next generation to advance God's kingdom, so that our students can take their next steps to a life of significance with Christ.

We are centered around discipleship relationships to foster an environment for our students to thrive on their journey with Jesus. Our ministry approach is based on a caring community and small groups where Godly relationships can develop - a gathering for students to encounter God through worship, teaching and other events.
